In this short article you will learn more about the famous “studio 54” and the style it caries with it. “Studio 54” was the name of a New York disco club located in Manhattan at 254 West 54th Street. It was first opened on April 26, 1977. This was the date when the greatest nightclub was born. Hundreds of people were invited to the opening. Some of the special guests were Bianca Jagger, Jerry Hall, Margaux Hemingway, Debbie Harry, Donald Trump, Sylvester Stallone etc.
There were so many people at the opening that there were some celebrities like Cher and Frank Sinatra who couldn’t get in. The club became so famous that it shortly became the preferable place for a lot of celebrities like Andy Warhol, Michael Jackson, Elton John, Liza Minnelli, Rod Stewart , Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Jones, Mae West, BrookeShields , Truman Capote, Alice Cooper.

The disco was famous for its unique 70’s style which came back as night club design. The only difference nowadays is that it is now called “ retro-modern 70’s style”. There are a lot of designing companies that work with this retro-modern style. Here is an example of this style in a modern disco.
